Professional Installation Guide
Follow these steps to ensure a factory-standard, permanent bond that stays secure at any speed.
Ensure the bonnet is between 15°C and 30°C. In winter, use a hairdryer to warm the metal. The engine must be cold (stationary for at least 2 hours) to prevent the adhesive from skinning too quickly.
Use Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) to remove all wax or ceramic coatings. The surface must be “squeaky clean.”
Mark your “landing zone” with masking tape before peeling the 3M backing.
Press down firmly along the entire perimeter for 60 seconds to activate the pressure-sensitive adhesive.
Do not wash your vehicle or drive at high speeds for 24 hours post-fitting.
